For the majority of my life, I have been involved in theatre arts and performance in various capacities and forms. From sweeping stage floors, to mounting underfunded, but spectacular productions, I continue to engage in the magic of live performance. Some productions have disappeared completely except for the ghostly remains floating in my memory. Some have been fully documented. The purpose of this website is to archive my collection of work before I am too consumed by the world to forget. As a feminist scholar, I do find validation in unabashedly exposing all the art I have created thus far. This can be a teaching tool not only for my developing artistic mind, but for others who may just be curious about what kind of theatre or performance is being generated in little ol' Austin, Texas.
As you can see on the left, I wear many hats. Although "performance art" (or whatever term fits the performance) is my deepest love, I welcome opportunities to direct exciting work by playwrights, or create original productions, or even act in a well-casted/directed play.
